MARVEL’s Avengers: Age of Ultron Sweeps – $4,500 Prize Value

We are huge MARVEL fans.  And with the theatrical release of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron coming May 1st, we’ve been re-watching the other movies.  We’ve watched Captain America, all the Iron Man movies and Avengers.

But you can’t really enjoy the MARVEL movies without great snacks.  The day before we’d planned to watch The Avengers, I went to Walmart and picked up everything I needed to make Avengers snacks – Hulk Juice, Avengers Cheez-It, Doritos and Easy Captain America cookies.

I made Hulk Juice first so it had time to chill.

Hulk Juice Recipe: 

• 3 cups Ginger Ale
• 4 cups green juice (I used pre-made from a big jug.)
• 1 cup pineapple juice
• Gummy Bears, optional

1. Mix green juice and pineapple juice together.
2. Gently add the Ginger Ale.
3. Chill, serve and enjoy!

Colin and I sampled the Hulk Juice before it was cold – it was delicious!  While I baked the Captain America Cookies, Colin played with our new Hulk action figure in his MARVEL jammies. It was fun to watch his imagination run wild! We have two Captain America shields that would have been fun to use with the Hulk role-play, but neither could be located.

Easy Captain America Cookies: 

• Cookie Dough (I used store-bought, but you could make your own)
• Frosting (in 3 colors – red, white and blue)

1. Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the cookies.
2. Bake as directed and let cool.
3. Frost one cookie with one color.  Continue until they are all decorated.
4. Serve and enjoy!

After the Hulk Juice and Easy Captain America Cookies were made, I pulled out The Avengers Cheez-It and Doritos. Everyone had a plateful of themed snacks which we enjoyed while we watched The Avengers!

Now we are ready to see MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1st!
